As the season begins to wind down, our final apiary session of the year will take place on Sunday, 27th September. Weβll be shifting our focus to the most important task of the year: Preparing our colonies for the winter months ahead.
Is Your Hive Ready for Winter?
Winter is a challenging time for our bees. Join us to ensure you have everything in place to give your colonies the best chance of survival. We will be covering:
- Winter Readiness Checks: How to assess if your colony has enough stores and healthy bees to make it through the cold.
- Essential Interventions: What steps you need to take now, including feeding, weatherproofing, and securing your hives against the elements.
- Practical Q&A: A deep dive into the “must-dos” before the final closure of the season.
